St. Mary’s Private ITI Manarcad is just few kilometers away from Kottayam town and is the proud of Manarcad Panchayath. The institute spreads over about 4 acres of land and provides eco-friendly atmosphere to the trainees. The yard is filled with shade trees, fruit trees, coconut trees, teak wood, flowering plants and cultivations like banana, tapioca, etc.
This institute is one of the best private ITIs in Kerala. It is working under employment and Training Directorate of Kerala. This institution started in the year 1978 and is permanently affiliated to NCVT. Now we have NCVT affiliation for Eight trades and has facilities to train 546 trainees per year. This ITI is managed by St. Mary’s Cathedral Manarcad, the Global Marian Centre. Our institution is always blessed by Holy Mary in whose name the institution is famous for.

Objectives

Our institution stands to create skilled labour necessary for industries. To improve industrial production and quality through these skilled labour. Find solutions for unemployment by providing training to educated youth suitable to industries. Provide technical skill to find self employment. Technician is Nation’s strength is the motto of this institute. We have facilities to provide employment to all those who have successfully completed the course. We have an efficient P.T.A., entrepreneur development club, ethics committee, counseling classes etc. We conduct separate assembles for senior and junior trainees at 7 am and 9 am respectively. Labs or workshop of our institute keeps international qualities. We can proudly say that with regard to better training and basic amenities our institution is outstanding. Trades tests and training are controlled by NCVT of Central Government Employment Ministry. Trainees who have successfully completing the course are provided a certificate recognized by any institute of the world.
